Project Description
Sometimes a bed gets so out of control that it makes sense to start again. Sometimes you might just fancy a change, In this case, removal of several tree and a number of old leggy shrubs a while ago had left a hard, compacted weedy area that was crying out for change.
A through weed and deep dig of the soil left the plot in a much more workable state with which to begin re-planting, beginning with a boundary row of laurels which will quickly grow to provide a visual shield as well as soften the traffic noise from a nearby road. The client had already purchased a large number of shrubs and flowers for the plot and was very specific in how she wanted them arranging.
Once everything was precisely where it needed to be, it was just a matter of planting everything with a good quality compost, watering and giving the area a final rake over to leave it looking pristine. Just how the client wanted and a happy client makes for a happy Chris.
